ARC Advanced Reading Copies / Uncorrected Proofs

The ARC for The Mediterranean Caper was produced for the 40th Anniversary release, there was not an original produced for the initial release, there were only around 50 published which is an extremely small run.

I the first book of the Fargo series (Spartan Gold) was to be a trade paperback like Clive’s other series: Oregon and NUMA Files. As such it would be published by Berkley. Then Putnam decided to publish it a hardcover. For that they produced another ARC with the book cover picture.

The ARC for Havana Storm has the original Chapter 32, which was omitted from the final print.

Deep Six ARC is a UK proof

The ARC Pacific Vortex although was Clive's first book it was released later.

The Arctic Drift had two ARC/Proof editions the one with the white back cover is rare, it is known as an Uncorrected Advance Manuscript, while the more common dark cover is Uncorrected Advance Proof.
